Answers to your
questions.

Before you make the trip down to the shelter, review our baseline requirements, costs, and standard medical safety frameworks.

What do I need to bring to adopt a dog?

Just a valid photo ID and, if you rent your home, a quick note or copy of your lease from your landlord confirming that pets are allowed on the property.

How much are the adoption fees, and what do they cover?

Our standard adoption fee is $150. This entirely offsets the upfront veterinary financial drain: it covers the cost of complete spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date core vaccinations, microchipping, and an initial wellness examination.

Can I bring my current dog to meet a rescue prospect?

Absolutely—in fact, we highly encourage it! We require a supervised "meet-and-greet" session in our secure outdoor play zones for any household that already has resident dogs to confirm compatibility before approval.

What happens if the adoption doesn't work out at home?

We provide an explicit, open-ended safety net. If a dog fails to settle into your home lifecycle environment, you can return them to our care at any point. We always prioritize finding alternative environments where they can succeed.

Do you accept physical item donations?

Yes! We are always looking for unopened bags of dog food, durable chew toys, clean blankets, and heavy-duty leashes. Items can be dropped in the donation bins located right outside our front entry gate.
